Hey everyone, just put a link to a websight that one of my professors has her work displayed on. If you get a chance go heck it out. She's a really great artist and her work is amazing. Of course . . . unless you've been through the process or know anything about printmaking it is hard to appreciate the finished product. Check it out anyway, it may spark an interest to take a class.

Little Man
Lobster Feed for Christmas
This was our Lobster feed with the Brandts and the Steels. John Steele served his two year mission in our old ward in Topsham, Maine and we all just ended up in the same ward in Idaho. ever since we got there John has been talking about having lobster again, so we promised him a feed at our place and invited another couple who are from California and have only eaten Rock Lobster (yuck) no offense. fun was had by all and we savored every bite. Merry Christmas everyone.

A Saint At Christmas
Today was an interesting day. It started out with me dropping my daughter off at the bus stop and then heading to Fred Myer to do some last minute Christmas stuff. I arrived at the register to pay for my purchases and grabbed my wallet from the counter. I headed out the door and placed my purchases in the car from the shopping cart. As I was doing so a gentleman was just pulling up and getting out of his truck. I notice signage painted on the side. I thought I noticed him looking at me, but I didn't think anything of it. I often get those looks because of my very white hair and very bright green ski parka. I got into my car and headed for home. I thought to myself . . . "boy and I hungry, it was around 12:00 noon and I had not eaten since 6:00 this morning. As I thought that I began to look around for my wallet and couldn't find it anywhere. I was half way home at that point, so I turned around in a panic mode and headed back to Fred Myer, the first place checked was the shopping cart that I left out in the parking lot. It was no there, I checked where my car was parked, it was not there, but that pick up truck was still in the parking lot. I ran in and checked with the cashier that I checked out with and then with customer service. I ran back out and check every place again including my vehicle and the packages and then again inside. It was no where to be found. I called James immediately and asked him to call the credit card company to cancel out visa, then I went to my bank and had them cancel my debit card. Problem was my wallet had my social security card, my daughter's social security card, my drivers license, my BSU ID, my temple recommend, my credit card, my debit card, some cash and some loose change. My whole life was in there and the first thing I thought was was identity theft as well as having our credit ruined. I was in a panic and my husband was mad at me. I went home to check my messages, there were none, nor was my wallet sitting on my doorstep. I called the police to file a report and they told me to call Fred Myer and have them check their serviellance cameras. I said about 5 prayers between the time I lost the wallet and the time I got home. About 1:00 I received a phone call by a gentleman by the name of Nathan Cobb, owner of Cobb Granite and Tile in Meridian. He had found my wallet in the shopping cart and brought it home with him. I quickly wondered why he had done that and not just dropped it off at Fred Myer customer service, but I did not ask him, so he gave me his address and I told him I would be there in 20 minutes, then I got nervous and called my husband, I wanted him to go with me, so he met me half way and we went together. We got there and Nathan turned my wallet over to me and I offered him money, all I had was 20.00. Wish we could have offered him more. H refused it then proceeded to explain that he had lost his wallet a few years back, it had been turned in to the customer service desk, and two kids who had worked there took the wallet and bought themselves two play stations . . . hence he brought the wallet home. Can I just say THANK YOU NATHAN COBB of COBB GRANITE and TILE. You are my angel this season, so close to Christmas this was the best gift I could have asked for. What Nathan doesn't know is that due to the last two years of fighting cancer, the medical bills have just about one us in, losing my wallet to a dishonest person would have just finished us. Thank you thank you thank you. There really are some good people left in this world.

Maine Lobster
We've decided to treat ourselves for Christmas this year. We have one thing under the Christmas tree this year for the whole family so we decided to add lobsters to that and treat one of our old missionaries from the Topsham Ward. Elder John Steele some of you might remember him, he and his wife Melissa, and two kids Ryker and Miley are in our ward here in Idaho.
Coming Through a Tragedy
If you get a chance please read this story, it will make the hair on your neck stand on end. These are friends of our back in Maine. It was truly difficult to read news articles and hear news reports and not be able to be there to help them through this ordeal. Thankfully many people in Maine and their very own community came together to help them. They have a lot of recovering to do; keep them in your prayers. They are truly a wonderful family, they have always welcomed everyone into their home and done so much for others.
