Here are some more of the Limited Production Jewelry that will be on sale on May 1st at Java Downtown Boise. Hope to see some people there. These are some fun pieces and we only had two weeks to come up with an idea and produce twenty pieces each.

Boise State University Advanced Metals Sale

Limited production rings made out of thick plexi glass, they include things like strike and match, birthday candles, golf tees, feathers, corks, bubble sticks and a little pink bow and then some plain rings, some frosted some clear, and some different shapes. This has been a fun project, these and my classmates limited production jewlery will go on sale on Saturday May 1st at Java Downtown Boise. I will add some pictures of some of my classmates work, they are not all in, but there a good majority here.

Robot Assemblage

This is one of 13 robots that local children in the community created during their after school art program at the Meridian Library this week. I did a quick power point presentation on the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling and gave the kids a handout about the Environmental Protection Agency and local companies that recycle electronics. I also talked about how millions of computers and other electronic waste finds it way into landfills each year and the harm that this electronic waste can cause to wildlife, humans, Idaho's drinking water and the soil that we grow our food in. The kids were quite excited when they saw the many containers full of computer parts, and when it was time to create, they ran to the containers, grabbed all kinds of interesting parts and created the coolest robots. This was the first class taught in the 3-d method and it was a huge success. We also did some prep work for journals that they will be creating the first Tuesday in February. The front and back covers were created with paper bags, water and elmers glue. Next month we will put them together, stitch them and create art on the covers.

White Breeze

This is a painting I did, original done by Jonathan Green titled "White Breeze", this weekend as part of a collaborative project in my Multicultural Arts class. I did it on faux leather, which is actually made from dampened paper bags and glued in between with Elmers glue, then dried over night. I used Tempera paints. Had a blast with it.
